Hawkwind have been such a strong influence on my own journey through art and music and the early material particularly often offers an escape pod to the stars when this world tries to smother.. I wish I'd got along to some of those early gigs but thank the stars for youtube (though nothing can beat being there i know) There aren't many records you can put on that teach you something new every time you play them, but the stories that 'Doremi Fasol Latido', 'Space Ritual' and 'Warrior on the Edge of Time' tell certainly do. I'd like to get into the new material, where should i start?
Looking forward to Bournemouth next April (2025) as we've booked an anti-matter slot to experience a gig in the 'There is no space for us' tour!
