I got the X In Search Of Space boxset yesterday and two of the discs were lying loose inside the box.
This has nothing to do with Dave, Kris or any other Hawkwind band members but is Cherry Red's fault exclusively.
Considering the fact that Dave and the band don't get a single penny for these re-releases, could you show the artists some respect and get your act together in the packaging department Cherry Red.
Hawkwind are inadvertently promoting your merchandise by touring the countryside and playing the music live.
I know people from Cherry Red read these forums so show Dave and the rest of Hawkwind a little respect please.
On a positive note, the sound of the remasters are phenomenal, so don't leave us with a bad taste in our mouths.
The only people that get away with f*cking up at that high a level are weather forecasters and US presidents.
Time for some beheading in your QA/QC department at the disc manufacturing facility.

That's a tricky question, it all depends on how Hawkwind obsessed you are.
The box, poster and book are excellent it's just the fact that the cd slots aren't long enough.
The cd's fall out and slide around in the box during delivery and get scuffed up.
Luckily mine still sound superb but I want Cherry Red to fix the problem for future releases.
I like the new mix because there's more individual instrument sounds brought forward.
If you've also been Hawkwind crazed since 1973, yes it's worth the money.
The sad thing is Dave/Hawkwind don't own any of the rights to these releases.
They don't make any money from them.
Is it worth the extremely high price?
what is the new mix and packaging like?
